MY Dacia is a website aimed at simplifying the use and maintenance of your Dacia vehicle.
MY Dacia users ("Users") refers to all prospective or current Dacia customers.
To access the services detailed below ("Services"), it is recommended that you register your vehicle on your MY Dacia account.
Adding a vehicle is possible for all Dacia vehicles under 20 years old.
MY Dacia users can then benefit from all of the Services that their vehicle is eligible for.
The Services offered are as follows:
- Managing your profile data and the information you wish to receive.
- Information about your vehicle to facilitate your daily driving (e.g. registration, unique identification number (VIN), equipment, engine, vehicle manual, mileage entered by the customer or the Dacia network, warranties and service contracts).
- The specific service manual for your vehicle: - The specific service manual for your vehicle: the next service intervals (calculated according to your mileage, the features of your vehicle and your maintenance history), the dynamic maintenance programme and access to the archive of your paid visits to workshops in the Dacia network.
- The estimated trade in price for your vehicle.The progress with your new vehicle order (in addition to the information supplied by your Dacia dealer).
- Tips, benefits and promotional offers tailored to your vehicle and profile information known to Dacia.
- The choice, location and information about your favourite Dacia establishment.
In addition to the above services, MY Dacia also allows:
- Order service contracts on the MYDaciaShop website (only via the website)
Dacia allows you to create an account on the website.
a) If you wish to register through the www.dacia.co.uk website in the MY Dacia section, you can access the registration form, complete it, choose a password, and read and accept the present T&Cs via a check box. MY Dacia will then send you an email asking your to activate your account (click on the content link in the email).
b) If you wish to register with your Dacia establishment or Customer Relations, you must provide your email address. You will receive an e-mail with a link to the pre-filled MY Dacia registration form with the personal data entered during your visit to the Dacia network. You can then enter a password to create your account.MY Dacia will then send you an email asking your to activate your account (click on the content link in the email).
c) Following a new vehicle order from Dacia network and if you have given your email address, you will receive an email with a link to the pre-filled MY Dacia registration form with the personal data entered during your visit to the Dacia network. If you would like to register, you can then enter a password to generate your account. MY Dacia will then send you an email asking your to activate your account (click on the content link in the email).
By signing up for MY Dacia, you will benefit from daily support managing your vehicle.
You can also, if you have agreed, receive, by email, information on personalised commercial offers from Dacia, its subsidiaries and its sales network.
You have the option to terminate these communications at any time in your MY Dacia profile. You can also terminate them by clicking on the unsubscribe link in each communication sent.
During the registration process, you will enter an account name and password.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and your password.
You agree to inform Dacia immediately of any unauthorised use of your account and / or password, as well as to ensure that you log out at the end of each session.
Dacia cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage occurring in case of breach of these obligations.
The registration, access and use of MY Dacia require Dacia to collect certain data, including personal data which, for the purposes of the applicable regulations, make it possible to directly or indirectly identify a natural person.
Your personal data are processed by Dacia, as the data processing authority, in accordance with regulations. Your personal data and data relating to your vehicle are essential to allow you to register for MY Dacia, to use the Services and/or the Features and to receive, subject to your approval, offers of new services and products.
Dacia shall take appropriate physical, technical and organisational measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of personal data, in particular to protect them against loss, accidental destruction, alteration and unauthorised access.
The processing of personal data referred to above is liable to involve the transfer of personal data to countries which are not members of the European Economic Area, whose personal data protection legislation differs from that of the European Union.These data transfers are carried out in accordance with conditions and guarantees which aim to ensure security and confidentiality.
It is your responsibility to inform, prior to the use of the vehicle and connected services, any person who uses the vehicle or has taken a seat on board the vehicle of:
- the collection and processing of personal data,
- the geolocation of the vehicle,
- the possibility of disabling vehicle connectivity,
and to obtain their authorisation for the transmission to third parties of certain data implied by the use of the vehicle and the Services and/or Features.
Personal data may be communicated for the purposes mentioned above to legal entities of Groupe Renault, to its partners and service providers, within the scope necessary for the completion of the tasks entrusted to them.
Dacia may also disclose personal data in the event that it is obliged to disclose them to an authorised third party in order to comply with any legal obligation, or to enforce or have the data enforced.In order to allow Dacia to keep personal data up-to-date and accurate, the User is invited to check them regularly and to modify them if necessary in the "My Profile" section of MY Dacia.
The personal data specific to MY Dacia will not be retained by Dacia when the MY Dacia account is closed.
In accordance with the current regulations, the User has a right of access to their data as well as the right to ask for the rectification, updating or deletion of inaccurate, incomplete or out of date data and the right to opposition, subject to a legitimate justification, to the processing of their data by contacting the Customer Relations Service - RENAULT SAS - 92109 Boulogne-Billancourt Cedex.
However, this opposition may make it impossible for Dacia to provide the requested service.The User also has the right to the portability of their data, which will allow them to receive the personal data concerning them that they have provided to Dacia, in a structured format, and to require Dacia to transmit these data to any other processing authority the User may communicate to Dacia.
The MY Dacia T&C may be modified at any time by Dacia due to the evolving nature of MY Dacia and Services that may be subject to change, including the provision of new features, or by removing or modifying certain features.
It is therefore advisable for the User to refer to the latest version of the T&C accessible at any time on the website or mobile application before any navigation. In case of disagreement with the T&C, no use of MY Dacia should be made by the User.
If any clause is held null and void, it will be deemed unwritten but will not invalidate other clauses.
The failure of Dacia to exercise any of the rights resulting from these Terms and Conditions does not constitute a waiver of asserting its rights.
Certain features of the MY Dacia application are only accessible depending on your location.
These Terms and Conditions are subject to French domestic law.
The language of the Terms and Conditions is the French language.
In case of dispute, the French courts have sole jurisdiction.
